Hence making the abrasive damage to the blood vessels, aneurysms.  This is due to change in their lifestyle conditions, stress, sleeping patterns etc., smoking is the one of the most important risk factors which leads to severe health conditions like cardiovascular disease, brain stroke, renal injury, Optic nerve injuries. Due to increased blood pressure in blood vessels, it will increase the pressure in the blood vessels in the brain and leading into rupture causing a brain stroke due to haemorrhage. Medication adherence is one of the main aspects for the poor management of hypertension. Nowadays, society got habituated for eating fried foods, oily foods; this leads to increased body lipid levels in the blood. This will impact on imbalance of HDL- LDL levels in the body.

Smoking considered as a silent killer, as it shows a slow effect on someone’s health. Although nicotine is present in it, oxidative free radicles come as a complimentary for it. As it travels way too faster, it will damage the inner walls of the blood vessel making it to attract the coagulating factors. Along with those factors, due to presence of high lipid levels in the blood; the damaged area is healed with lipid components and clotting factors in the blood. This will lead to fatty plaque formation in the inner layer of the blood vessel. Eventually, it will lead to narrowing of blood vessel, thereby the blood flow to the efferent area of the plaque will get a poor blood supply leads to hypoxia i.e., reduced oxygen supply to the tissues causing ischemia (Damage to the cardiac cells). On persistent occurrence of this event this will leads to Myocardial infarction.

This way the hypertension and smoking causing a significant change to the heart. This is the main reason why we consider those two entities as silent killers. as it acts like a slow poison and damage the vital organs like heart, brain, and kidney.
